I have a 2006 325i with factory Xenon headlights and luminous rings. One luminous ring (Angel Eye) is out. I would like to replace the light with the “same” light (not led). What kind of replacement bulb can I purchase to fit the housing? Gary (trying again!)

Darius, if you look closely at the clear lens portion of the dome light, most late models cars have a small notch where you can insert a flat head screwdriver to pry open the clear lens out of the light housing. Some do not have a notch but the lens can be pried open. Just take your time so you do not crack the lens. If you do not see a place to pry the lens off, there’s also a possibility that you may have to remove the entire light housing to get to the bulb itself. Hope this helps. Good luck with your map light bulb replacement.
To Whom It May Concern, I am having difficulty trying to replace the stock interior lights in my 2006 325i. Is there some type of special tool needed to replace the take the lense off of the housing unit? For the life of me, I have trying to take the lenses cover off to replace the bulb. Can you guide me as to how I can accomplish this task? Thanks, Darius Smith
