Bigdaddy0522, thanks for the 2005 Saturn Vue dimmer wire information contribution!
Takahashi, orange is the dimmer in most GM vehicles. Dunno about the gray ones though.
Takahashi, it is possible that the orange wire is the battery constant 12v+ wire. Many late model GM vehicles use the orange wire as the constant power source. Hope this helps. Good luck.
I’m installing an entire car stereo into an 05 Vue and all the speaker wires are correct, along with the grounding wire and the Accessory 12v+ wire. Other then that, I am getting extremely frustrated finding the other cables. There are two orange wires, and one gray. Are there any other guides that might have this info?
I have installed a new cd deck in my Saturn Vue 2005 4 cylinder. The issue now is the cd works and radio but my key fob doesn’t lock and unlock the doors and the car will start up and automatically shut off. Can someone please help me here.
Thanks.
Ken, are you looking to power the factory speakers or are you looking to power a subwoofer with an external amplifier?
If i wanted to connect an amp to my factory saturn vue cd player, with out having to spend a ton of money! Would there be any way of splicing the wires and connecting like maybe a speaker wire to an rca wire? If so, how? And what r the negatives about doing that?
