  1. Ernie, the front doors have 6 1/2″ speakers with a 3″ depth and the rear deck have 6 1/2″ speakers with a 3″ depth. Most door panel removals can be done with a Phillips screwdriver and by simply pulling the door panel off by hand. Just look for screws at the edge of the door panel, near the door handle or inside the door pull. Once you remove all the screws or plastic tabs, you should be able to pull the door panel off with ease by lifting up and out. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2004 Volkswagen Jetta speaker installation.

  2. I have a 2004 VW Jetta GL and I Need to know the size of the Front and rear door speakers and how to remove and replace them any and all help is welcome.

  3. i have a 2004 volkswagen jetta 1.8T. i was told that to install a aftermarket stereo in this vehicle it messes with the vehicle’s ECU (engine control unit) as well as the air bag system? is this true or false?

  4. I have a 2000 jetta with a single DIN radio that is roken. I replaced it with a DOUBLE DIN PREMIUM radio. Everytings works but when I turn the car off and take the key out of the ignition the radio stays on. I am not sure if his has anything to do with the CAN-BUS L and H. Where do I connecte the 12v ignition switch to? Any help would be great
