1 thought on “2003 Hyundai Santa Fe Radio Wire Harness Guide”

  1. I have a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe with the Monsoon radio. It has been acting up and occasionally won’t come on so I decided to replace the unit with an aftermarket unit. I purchased the 70-2003 wiring harness, the mounting bracket for the double din unit and the antenna adapter. Following the color code I connected the radio wiring harness to the 70-2003. I removed the old unit and installed the new unit. When we powered the unit up everything it up but no sound at all, not even static. I determined that the problem was related to the factory amp that is in line with the speaker wires and that there was nothing to trigger it. There is not wire in the 70-2003 harness to trigger the amp. There is a blue wire in the radio’s harness to trigger a power antenna or possibly an amp but the 70-2003 does not have a wire that corresponds to it. Can anyone please help !
