  1. Lewis, the 2001 Kia Rio radio security code are usually written in your car manual or given to you when you purchase the vehicle. If you do not have the radio security code, you would have to obtain it from the local Kia dealer. Hope this helps. Good luck with unlocking your 2001 Kia Rio stereo.

  2. Jessie, it sounds like you blew out a fuse or two. Double check ALL your fuses and you will probably find a blown fuse somewhere. Sometimes when you short out your radio fuse, other fuses may also blow out. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  3. i tried to install an aftermarket radio a kenwood and hooked all the wires up and nothing happened so i tried it with a diffrent radio and it still dosnt work could i have blown a fuse or really messed sumthing up please give me some advice on how to check for problems

  4. Cruz,

All late model vehicles have a male end harness plug that plugs into the factory radio. It’s not easy to find a factory radio plug but you can try the dealer. An easier solution would be to install an aftermarket radio because you can just splice the correct wires together. Hope this helps.

  5. My Rio stereo wires are just hanging out of its cavity area and are just cut wires with no male end. Also is there a male end in the first place?
