Craig, double check ALL your fuses using an Automotive Fuse Tester
because certain vehicles may have a wire tied into another circuit not labeled as car radio. You may have additional fuse boxes by the driver side of the dash, passenger side of the dash, driver kick panel, passenger kick panel, under the steering column or under the hood. If all of your fuses are good, your 2001 Daewoo Nubira factory radio may be faulty. We suggest you take your car to an experienced audio installer and have them replace your factory stereo with an aftermarket radio. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2001 Daewoo Nubira stereo troubleshooting.
I have a 2001 Daewoo Nubira. It has standard radio, which when it works the sound is pretty good, however sometimes no sound come’s out, if i slap the radio sound comes back but only to the rear speaker’s and there’s a cracking sound in the front ones. Is this the unit itself or some wiring problem? Would it be best just to change the unit over with after market one?
Tyler, its sounds like your 1999 Daewoo Nubira radio may be in safe mode or anti-theft mode. Your radio goes into safe mode or anti-theft mode when it loses power. You will need a unlock code to get your radio working again. Radio security codes are usually written in your car manual or given to you when you purchase the vehicle. If you do not have the radio security code, you would have to obtain it from the local Daewoo dealer. Hope this helps. Good luck with unlocking your 1999 Daewoo Nubira radio.
I have a 1999 Daewoo Nubira and my stereo will not turn on. The little light on the stereo blinks but it wont turn on. Sometimes it would work and now it wont even turn on. Any suggestions as to why it wont turn on???
