I’m trying to figure out how to use this chart. For example: is the chart saying that you connect the first two wires together and so on down the line?
Rachel, take the wiring diagram that comes with your radio and match up those wires with the wires that are listed on this car stereo wiring diagram. Splice the correct wires together, solder properly and wrap each wire with electrical tape or use wire shrink wrap. Hope this helps. Good luck.
after taking my stock radio out, i noticed if i were to connect wire-to-wire with the new radio. i would have 2 wires left over, a purple and black wire that comes out of my car. what is the purple one for? and what is the thin black wire? also, there are actually 2 black wires coming from the car. are they both ground wires?
also, there is no pink wire in the cars wiring system for the radio..is that perhaps the purple wire that i found? it is a violet color, not bright purple, so i know its definitely not pink in color. anyone?
