Hello, I have a 1997 Land Rover Discovery and the cd charger doesn’t work at all. I was wondering if you guys can help me with where i should start looking for the problem. Also, i was wondering if you can give me some information about what i have to do to install an amplifier because i had heard something like the radio is pre-amplified and you can’t put an amplifier. anyone? Claudia, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and making sure all of your fuses are not blown. If all of your fuses are good, your 1997 Land Rover Discovery radio may be in safe mode or anti-theft mode. If your 1997 Land Rover Discovery radio loses power at any time, the stereo jumps into safe mode and will not function until a code is inputted to unlock it. This function is built into the radio to prevent theft. Radio security codes are usually written in your car manual or given to you when you purchase the vehicle. If you do not have the radio security code, you would have to obtain it from the local Land Rover dealer. Hope this helps. Good luck with unlocking your 1997 Land Rover Discovery stereo.
I have a 1997 Land Rover Discovery my radio is not working got the code from Agency and still nothing what can it be??? Any ideas. The word code just never comes off even when code is entered. I tried changing stereos and no sound any ideas on that???

Are the front right and left tweets in the window pillars labeled in different colors or the same wires as the door speakers? What colors are the wires that go to the rear stock sub and amp? Thanks Gabe
