are installed the same way. Different brands and different setups will call for different wiring. Our advice is to take your car to a qualified alarm installer and ask them how to disarm the alarm because it does take some wiring knowledge and experience to know what to do. Hope this helps. I have a Chevy Tahoe 1996 that I bought that already had an alarm system on it. I wasnt giving a key pad and the other night my alarm went off and now we can not get the truck to crank up. I have tried reseting it and also removing the box that goes with the alarm. My truck still would not crank up. The question is, what should I do next?
