  1. I have a 94 300zx convertible that has quit starting-acts as if the clutch is not pushed in- checked the clutch switch its ok. as the passenger door auto lock/unlock does not work I suspect the anti theft system. I have located the disarm wire gray/red in the kick panel– now what do I do with it to disarm the system.
please help– I have already ran over my foot trying to push start the blasted thing. by the way it did start (not my smartest move–still recovering).

  2. Mark, as much as we would like to help you, not all car alarms are installed the same way. Different brands and different setups will call for different wiring. Our advice is to take your car to a qualified alarm installer and ask them to remove the alarm because it does take some wiring knowledge and experience to know what to remove. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  3. I am having problems with my factory alarm. I bought a 94 300zx and it did not have the stock remotes for the alarms. Someone simply pulled the fuse, but the fuse also controls interior lights, which I would like to work. I put the fuse back in but the horn stays on constantly, the high beam lights wont turn off, and the turn signal lights stay on steadily, even if the car is off and the key is out of the ignition. I tried resetting the alarm per the manufacturer guidlines using the key to lock and unlock the door, but it did not work. I tried pulling out the facotry alarm control unit from under the dash, but that did not work. Any other suggestions?
