  1. Leelee, the 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 radio wire harness does not provide a ground wire. Simply ground your wire to the chassis (look below):

    1. Find some bare metal on your vehicle. Make sure this bare metal touches the chassis (frame) of the vehicle.

    2. Connect a ring terminal to the ground wire coming off your aftermarket amplifier.

    3. Use a self tapping screw to attach the black wire with ring terminal to the bare metal. Just make sure the metal you are screwing into does not have any wires or vital automotive components behind it.
