Highly advanced air filters have several functions, less restive airflow and improved filtration. The Greddy Airinx has combined these two functions to create a whole new air filtration system. To increase airflow, it is best to increase the dimensions for the air filter. The Greddy Airinx Filter has high capacity within its domed shape, while the internal funnel adapters draw in air at a higher velocity. The dry dual foam element catches larger particles on the outer edge, keeping the inner area cleaner for longer use. And by not using a wet element, sensitive airflow meters are not contaminated.
Greddy Airinx Air Intake Kits are complete vehicle specific systems. They are broken down into two main types of Greddy Airinx Intake Kits. The first Greddy Airinx Intake is a simple to install kit which consists of a one-piece molded internal funnel and pipe or airflow meter adapter. The second Greddy Airinx Intake Kit is the same as the first but adds a smooth flowing mandrel-bent aluminum piping to improve air flow response, and in some case relocation of the air filter for better performance. Greddy also makes Airinx Intakes for GReddy’s Supercharger Kits.
The Greddy AY-SB and AY-MB Airinx air filters are made with a special dry element and then placed between our new dual chrome ABS spiral cages. Greddy’s special double-ply element uses 2 layers of 3 dimensional urethane foam (with different textures) to increase filtration and maximize intake airflow. The outer ply of the Greddy air filter has a large opening while the inner rough layer is made up of a fine foam. The outer cage is a spiraled straight-fin design which helps promote air intake. The chrome finish can dress up any high performance engine compartment and is available in two compact sizes. Numerous funnel adapters in different sizes and styles and an extensive line of application specific bolt on kits.

really opened up my engine to some fresh air. the greddy airinx has great air flow and no check engine lights. fitment is perfect and looks good in my engine bay. recommended!
