My car battery keeps dying every morning. My friend and I have been testing this for the past week and can't seem to find an answer. Battery was tested at autozone to to be good, and the amps don't seem to be the problem either. I was wondering what was causing my battery to die out every morning. Amps turn off when car turns off, everything works fine. The only problem that I may suspect is the wiring on the stereo. I found the amplifier remote wire on my headunit and just used that. Do you know what the red wire is for? That's the only wire not used by my headunit and the diagram above doesn't seem to have what the red color wire is.

Quan Lin, technically you could connect your amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever the car is on and off whenever your car is off. Just make sure to run an in-line 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

What is the red wire for? Looking for the remote wire and red wire seems to be the only one left.

Hadrian,

We are not aware of any factory subwoofer that comes with the 1999 Honda Accord. As far as we know the rear deck only houses two factory speakers. Hope this helps.. good luck.
