  1. Robert,

The radio constant 12V+ wire (White/Blue) is a power wire that comes straight from your battery. It is always powered even when the car is off.

The radio switched 12V+ wire (Yellow/Red) is a power wire that comes from your ignition switch. It is only powered when your key is in the ignition and the car is running.

The reason the constant wire is always powered is to make sure your radio settings and radio station pre-sets are not erased when your car is not running. The switched wire is what actually powers the radio when your key is in the ignition and your car is running.

    Hope this helps. Good Luck.

  2. Dear all,
I had a electrical problem with my car last night and my Stereo doesn’t work. I lost my Code card a two years ago. Could you help me to find the Stereo Code?
    Honda Civic – Model 2005.
    Thanks in advance.

  3. Daniela Santos, if you don’t have the radio security code, you would have to obtain it from the Honda dealer. Hope this helps.
