  1. Jack, you may have mixed up the battery constant and accessory switched wires. The battery constant always sends power to the radio to save your radio stations and other audio settings. The accessory switched wire sends power to your radio only when the key is in the ignition and your 1995 Pontiac Firebird is on. Check your wiring and make sure the correct radio wires are hooked up to the correct wires on your factory harness. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1995 Pontiac Firebird radio installation.

  2. I bought a 1995 pontiac firebird with a 383 stroker that I love to death. its my first car that I have owned but I can’t get my cd player to turn off with the key. I got the speakers workin, and the power, but I can’t figure how to get it to turn off, my cd player always stays on and I don’t like that. Is there anybody that can help me?
