Andy, you may have to remove the paneling on the hatch to get to the brake light bulb. It shouldn’t be too hard to remove. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I’m trying to change the brake light of the driver side of my 2003 Audi TT. Please help. I removed the square carpet and plastic screws, but I can’t seem to get to the bulb because the frame is there. What can I do?????
Susie, as far as we know, you will have to remove the tail light housing from your vehicle to change the taillight bulb. Look closely on the inside portion of the taillight. There should be several nuts holding the tail light housing to your 2003 Audi TT. Remove those nuts and pull the tail light out and change the light bulb. Reverse these instruction to re-install.
