I recently installed an aftermarket head unit into my 2010 Camry in order to use 2 subwoofers. CD’s, aux, and USB devices play fine, but I would like to be able to listen to the radio. There are two antenna wires in the Camry which must be attached to the head unit in order for the radio to function. My head unit only has one input port for an antenna wire. Do I need to attach some sort of splitter for the wires? How do I attach both wires in order for my radio to function properly.

John, did u try connecting the Antenna Trigger wire to the antenna wire on the aftermarket Head unit? Then you only need to plug in the standard antenna plug into the back of the radio.

Hello, I was planning on installing an amp and subwoofers into my 2010 Camry and was wondering how would I run the wire from the positive terminal on the battery to the inside of the car, there isn’t much room under the hood and I don’t see where the wires enter into the car

Jeremy, most vehicles have a factory hole with a rubber or plastic grommet at the firewall. This is usually the standard place to run a power wire through the firewall. If one of these holes are not available or not large enough, a hole will have to be drilled to accommodate your power wire. Choose something on the engine side of the firewall as reference and try to match it up on the interior side of the firewall. This will make sure you do not drill through anything important. Then drill a hole somewhere near or beside your reference point. Make sure to use a firewall grommet to prevent the power wire from chaffing on the firewall that could potentially cause a short. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2010 Toyota Camry amplifier installation.

Have you had any experience with disabling the speed sensor on the scrolling feature of the factory radio in the 2010 toyota camry. My scrolling only goes up to about five miles an hour then stops. I can’t imagine it would be GPS related. Any help is appreciated. anyone?
