I need to know what color the wires are for a remote wire and the rear speakers to put a loc behind my maxima s stock radio. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Chris, technically you could connect your 2010 Nissan Maxima amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire (violet/yellow). That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2010 Nissan Maxima is on and off whenever your 2010 Nissan Maxima is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2010 Nissan Maxima amplifier install.
Hello, I have a 2010 maxima with technology package. Since there isn’t a kit for this, I was wondering if you can tell me if I can put a factory nav in it. If so what do I need. Are the Naviation and tech harness the same? Thanks for your time.
Joe, it would be very difficult to put in the a factory navigation system into a 2010 Nissan Maxima that did not have a factory navigation system from the factory. The 2010 Nissan Maxima car navigation system has different wiring and sensors then the factory stereo. Some of the plugs may also be totally different. Hope this helps. So I purchased a 2010 Nissan S which does not come with the navigation technology package. Two weeks later I purchased the complete factory oem navigation system along with the gps antenna and the technology package harness. I had a guy who did car installations try to work on my car and he was unable to install it. I have wasted time and money. Do you think that Best Buy will be able to install the Navigation system? If so, how much do they typically charge? Any answers or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
