hey all, i’m trying to install a new stereo in a 2005 pontiac g6, but i’m confused as to what to do with the “power antenna” and 12V switched power connections. Could anyone offer some advice? Thanks.
Mike, the power antenna wire is used to activate the power antenna. If you have an un-powered antenna, this wire does not need to be wired up. As for the switched power connection, this wire is used to send power to your radio only when the key is in the ignition and your 2008 Pontiac G8 is on. Check your wiring and make sure the correct radio wires are hooked up to the correct wires on your factory harness. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2008 Pontiac G8 radio installation.
