If you have the factory amplifier in your trunk, look for a wiring harness under the rear deck speakers...if you have it you can get the 12 volt supply to turn the amp on and off...see nissan dealer to get diagram...take the car in to show them...they wont know what it is until they see it.

Jose, technically you could connect your amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever the car is on and off whenever your car is off. Just make sure to run an in-line 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

I went to 2 different dealers and the 2nd one printed a diagram of the plug. It is a plug to install and upgraded satilte radio even though the car already has one factory installed. Just an FYI for anyone with the same question.

I have a 2008 nissan altima 3.5 se with navigation and the bose premium sound. In my trunk there is an amplifier...there is also what looks to be a harness with a female plug on it. I believe it is coming from the amp. Does anyone know if this plug can be utilized to get signal or power to another amplifier for installing sub woofers?
