I’m installing a new head unit into my ’08 Dodge Dakota and I used this wireing guide to help. After I got everything hooked up right( or what I believe to be right) I double checked, then plugged the unit in. Nothin. I tested all the wires and the all seem to be fine, the unit I bought was brand new in the box so idk what the problem is.
Rick, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and making sure all of your fuses are not blown. You may have additional fuse boxes by the driver side of the dash, passenger side of the dash, driver kick panel, passenger kick panel, under the steering column or under the hood. If all of your fuses are good, we suggest you take your car to an experienced audio installer and have them troubleshoot your problem. Hope this helps.
