  1. Hello ModLife, im trying to install an aftermarket radio with nav to a 2007 dodge charger sxt. Ive bought the axxess xsvi-6502 connector but not sure if their should be two connectors in this kit because the factory harness for the radio has two, not sure if one is for the an amplifier. When i bought the car there was no radio installed so im not sure what goes where. when i connected the axxess harness to car harness (larger one) radio comes on but no sound, connected external speaker and player seems to be working fine. Would that second harness control the amp, if one is installed? anyone know? thanks

  2. Josh, technically you could connect your 2007 Dodge Charger amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2007 Dodge Charger is on and off whenever your 2007 Dodge Charger is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2007 Dodge Charger amplifier installation.

  3. Im running an amp but keeping the factory radio and need some where to get power for the remote wire and no one has been very help full so could u give me a couple pointers were to run it on my 2007 Dodge charger?

  4. Danny, double check ALL your automotive fuses using a Automotive Fuse Tester because certain vehicles may have a wire tied into another circuit not labeled as car radio. You may have additional fuse boxes by the passenger kick panel, driver side of the dash, driver kick panel, passenger side of the dash, under the steering column or under the hood. If all of your automotive fuses are not blown, your 2007 Dodge Charger factory amplifier may be shorted out and may need replacement. We suggest you take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer and have them troubleshoot your problem. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2007 Dodge Charger stereo troubleshooting.

  5. Hi i was installing an amp to my aftermarket deck and i messed up. I accidentally touched two cables that shouldn’t of touched and ssmoke came out from the front. The fuse in the back of the stereo was burnt so I replaced it. Still doesnt work, there is no power on the harness and I don’t have a manual to check certain fuses so I checked all and were fine. I don’t know what to check for next, please help. 2007 dodge charger SE
