  1. I was wondering if the radio made by bose in this 06 PathFinder has an input for an amp, or how can I ad an amp to this system? Thanks in advance

  2. McCleveland, most late model vehicles do not have rca outputs on the factory radio to feed an audio signal to your aftermarket amplifier. You would have to install a line out converter to supply an audio output. Here is the Line-Out Converter you need:

Scosche 2-Channel Speaker to RCA Line Out Converter

When splicing in the RCA Line Out Converter, tap your factory rear speaker wires to get a full range audio source. We suggest you invest in some solid wire taps that wont come loose. These wire tap connectors will allow you to tap into wires without cutting and installs in seconds by hand with no crimping or tools required. If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2006 Nissan Pathfinder amplifier install.

  3. I really love my Bose stereo in my pathfinder. I do not have the video (technology?) package with this vehicle, but noticed that the “CD” button can also control this feature if installed. Is there a way to utilize this feature to connect my android phone to my stereo?? Via RCA jacks behind the head unit? Thank you

  4. Isaiah, your 2006 Nissan Pathfinder does not have RCA jacks on the rear of the radio. An automotive auxiliary input adapter will allow you to input any mp3 player or portable music player into your factory radio. This is the easiest and most cost effective way to add an audio input into your factory stereo. Here is the bluetooth transmitter you will need:

  8. Jeannie Matteson

I have a 2006 Pathfinder with a Bose sound system and 6 disc CD changer. I do not see where I can have an iPod connect wire. Is there a way to do this?

  9. Jeannie, you will need an automotive auxiliary input adapter or Apple iPod interface. 10. How can I connect sat radio directly to my 2006 Pathfinder with a Bose sound system and 6 disc CD changer. I don’t want to use the dash mount types. I believe my tuner is sat ready. anyone know how to do this?

  11. Hi, I have a 2007 Nissan pathfinder with Bose system 6 CD changer. My system was working fine until the sound began to turn off and on and than no sound at all. The radio turns on and i can see the volume numbers rise up and down, but no sound from either the radio or CD. I checked the fuses but they seem to be fine. I am thinking is the amplifier but not sure. Does anyone know whats going on?

  12. Efrain, double check ALL your fuses using an Automotive Fuse Tester because certain vehicles may have a wire tied into another circuit not labeled as car radio. You may have additional fuse boxes by the driver side of the dash, passenger side of the dash, driver kick panel, passenger kick panel, under the steering column or under the hood. If all of your fuses are good, your 2007 Nissan Pathfinder factory amplifier (if equipped) may be faulty. We suggest you take your car to an experienced audio installer and have them troubleshoot your problem. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2007 Nissan Pathfinder radio troubleshooting.

  13. I have a 2006 Nissan pathfinder, i left all the windows and sunroof down and it rained hard! My Bose radio was the only thing affected,(which is surprising since I had to dry vac the car out the seats were soaked) it turns on and everything works but the volume. Purchased a new radio, and a friend put it in, and no volume, he checked the wires and then had me get an interface, no luck, he put my Bose radio back in and we are back at square one again……i was told it could be the outboard amp, but how can i tell b4 purchasing? Where is the outboard located? I’m tired of listening to myself sing. ugh, can anyone please help asap?
