Mike, the vehicle speed sense wire is light blue and can be found at the back of the instrument cluster. There should only be one light blue wire, just search all the harnesses that are plugged into the rear of the instrument cluster (or gauges). Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2006 Nissan Pathfinder car alarm installation.

need to find the VSS wire on 2007 Nissan Pathfinder SE.
it has the factory radio (not Bose) system. i have read other forums to find the wire on the 32 pin plug on the back of the radio. there is not a 32 pin plug on this model. i need to find it elsewhere.

also read to find it on pin 6 of the instrument cluster. if so how to indentify the instrument cluster? i looked behind the panel and there are a few sets of wires.

Your color code wiring diag. for the the 06 pathfinder was a great help installing a new Alpine stereo. However, I was left with two wires from the car that had no match on the stereo and which ware not addresses on your diag. I was left with a green with grey spots wire and a black with grey sopts wire. In fact the car wire bundle came with two of each of these colors.
The stereo works normally in all areas as per the manual. can you shed some light on what these two wires are and where should they be connected?
