  1. I have a 2006 hyundai tiburon. It has a infiniti stereo system. I need a harness or how to bypass the amp altogether. I have never bypassed one before so would rather have the infiniti harness. can anyone please help?

  2. I had a problem with my Kenwood factory stereo in my 06 Tiburon. Whenever I would hit a bump in the road, the left side would cut out. Eventually it got worse, where all the sound would cut out, and then finally, I just couldn’t get sound at all (even without hitting bumps in the road). It was getting power, but no sound.

I noticed when I went to remove the stereo to check it out, when it was pulled out of the dash, the sound worked fine. When I pushed it back into place, the sound would cut out again. If I wiggled the wires where they went into the stereo, the sound would come and go. It seemed there was a short in the wiring harness between the stereo and the car wiring.

I got a new wiring harness and replaced the old one. However, now I’m not getting any power to the stereo. It won’t come on at all. Not only that, but when it’s plugged in, the keyless entry remote won’t work. It won’t lock or unlock the doors. Unplug the stereo, keyless remote works fine. (It does the same thing now with the old harness plugged in, too, which it didn’t do before. Even though the sound would cut out, the stereo would still get power. Now, nothing.)

Yes, I checked all the fuses, inside, under the hood, and the one on the stereo itself. I also checked the wiring with a multimeter, and it’s getting power all the way to where the harness plugs into the stereo. anyone?

  3. I need to know where to hook up the antenna on a 2006 hyundai tiburon. It was pulled loose when I bought the car, and I have looked but can’t find where to hook it back up. there is just a cable hanging from the antenna, it looked like it was ran up through the back above the tire, but i haven’t been able to find the other end.

  4. Thanks for the tip! I found a manual for my stereo (Kenwood EZ-500) online, and apparently the switched power wire in the stereo harness is RED. Problem solved.

  5. TBone, use a Automotive Wire Circuit Tester to test the wires behind your radio. While the ignition is off, tap a wire with your circuit tester then turn your ignition to battery. If your tester lights up when the battery is on and the light turns off when the ignition is off then you’ve found the switched power wire. Repeat for every wire until you find the correct one. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2006 Hyundai Tiburon Apple iPod aux input installation.

  6. In my 2006 Hyundai Tiburon with a factory-installed Kenwood head unit, I tapped into the yellow switched power wire for a powered iPod/iPhone audio aux input device (the iSimple IS75 Polywire to be exact) and with the ignition off, it is still able to pull power. Is this wiring diagram incorrect? How can the device still be getting power with the ignition off and key removed?

  7. i have a 2006 hyundai tiburon and i hooked the harness and everything to my new custom stero and it will turn on but nothing will play through the speakers there is one group of wires that arnt connected but i dont know what they do

  8. Daniel, the amplifier remote wire in a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon is white/orange and can be found in the factory radio wiring harness. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2006 Hyundai Tiburon stereo wiring diagram needs.

  9. what color is the remote wire on a 2006 hyundai tiburon I want to add an amplifier so i need it to turn off and on when i turn the radio off and on
