  1. I have a 2005 grand prix gt. im looking to put a pioneer avh p3100dvd in it in the furture. As of now the factor radio is in it and its lock cause the car battry was changed how can i unlock it and when i put the new radio in will i have this problem. also can you list everything i will need when putting the new radio in.

  2. I just installed a radio in a 2005 grand prix GXP and the date on the information center stopped working. Is there a way to keep that display working with an aftermarket radio? anyone?

  3. After hooking up all the color wires listed I still have 5 wires leftover. I have an orange-ish could be pink wire its a little bit thicker like the speaker wires a blue wire its smaller than the speaker wire a black wire a gray wire and a gray/black wire does. anyone what they go to and on what wire to hook them to on the aftermarket radio?

  4. what wire would i hook the remote wire from my amp too so the amp shuts off when the 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix shuts off?

  5. Mike, technically you could connect your 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix is on and off whenever your 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix amplifier install.
