Does anyone know how the antenna on a 2005 Kia Spectra runs from the trunk to the dash? There appears to be an intermittent in the antenna connection, and lately it is more disconnected than connected. I unscrewed the antenna from its socket and that doesn’t make any difference. can anyone help?
Brittany, you will need an automotive auxiliary input adapter. This adapter will allow you to input any mp3 player, portable music player or Apple iPod into your factory radio. im trying to put an aftermarket jvc head unit in my 2005 spectra…but the stock wiring harness is too big. anyone know where i can get an adapter because i went to autozone and they said they had no parts for the 05 spectra
C, it sounds like your volume knob is broken. You can replace your 2005 Kia Spectra stereo with an aftermarket one or you can source another factory radio from your local dealer. Steve, it sounds like you blew out a fuse or two. Double check ALL your fuses and you will probably find a blown fuse somewhere. Sometimes when you short out your radio fuse, other fuses may also blow out. Hope this helps. Good luck.
