  1. What wire do you use in a 2005 jeep grand cherokee on the Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire. I have tried to hook up an aftermarket radio. but ther is only constant power nothing that hook up to the accessory switch

  2. i am having this same problem my after market stereo will not shut off when the car is shut off, anyone have any soulutions? i have been told to install a toggle/kill switch, or run a wire to the ignition fuse- these are things i do not want to do, i would like the right way to do it

  3. Dustin, run a wire to your steering column and tap the violet/brown wire (accessory switched power) in your ignition switch harness. You must use a 560 ohm resistor on that wire because it is the same wire as the second engine starter wire. If you don’t know how to use resistors, run a wire to the fuse box and find a switched power source (power with the key in the ignition AND power off when the key is out AND power off when starting your car). Hope this helps. Good luck.
