Amanda, your alarm remote may have to be re-programmed to match your alarm system in your car. If your alarm came with the car from the dealer then you would have to take your car to the dealership and have them re-program it. If you have an aftermarket alarm, the shop that installed the system can re-program it for you. It shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes. Hope this helps. Good luck.
I have a 2005 Hyundai Accent and recently by car battery and the alarm key battery died. I replaced the batter in the alarm key and recharged my car battery. Now the alarm key won’t work and every time I try starting my car the alarm goes off and I can’t use my car. Can someone help me in resetting the alarm or know what might be the problem.
