I am thinking about purchasing a Metra Axxess ASWC to my alpine cda117 deck in my 2005 Ford F250. After researching the product most of the problems come from finding the correct wire that controls the steering wheel audio functions. I have looked online and have come up with nothing. anyone?

Steve, technically you could connect your 2005 Ford F250 amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2005 Ford F250 is on and off whenever your 2005 Ford F250 is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2005 Ford F250 amplifier install.
