  2. i was wondering if it was possible to have a after market stereo and still have the factory amp working with the stereo…and if yes…could u tell me how…

  3. The amplifier for this car is located in the trunk, under the rear deck, between the speakers. You’ll find all the speaker wires there.

  4. Is it possible to replace the factory radio in a 2005 Impala that has on star with a later model so that I can have an auxiliary input for my IPod and internal XM radio?

  5. Eric, you will need a bluetooth transmitter. A bluetooth transmitter will allow you to connect any bluetooth device to your factory radio. This is the easiest and most cost effective way to add an audio input into your factory stereo. Here is the bluetooth transmitter you will need:

  8. When I used da harness color to color for da hook up to the radio of an 2003 Chevy impala radio came on perfect but got no sound out of it what so ever. anyone?

  9. Urvan, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and making sure all of your fuses are not blown. If all of your fuses are good, your 2003 Chevrolet Impala may have a factory amp that needs to be turned on by your after market radio. The car radio amplifier trigger wire has to be wired up to turn on your factory amplifier to output sound from your speakers. Double check that your 2003 Chevrolet Impala amp turn on wire is connected. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2003 Chevrolet Impala stereo installation.

  10. I have a 2005 chevy impala with onstart and im trying to put an aftermarket stereo in it. I have the right harness for it to work with my onstar. But when I hook it up the preakers arent working…? HELPPPP!!!!!!!!!

  11. Brittney, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and make sure all of your fuses are not blown. If all of your fuses are in working condition, your 2005 Chevrolet Impala may have a factory amplifier that needs to be turned on by your after market radio. 12. Hi I have a 2005 Impala base model and just bought a new stereo(it had the stock one in it) and hooked it up to a wiring harness matching all the colors from the new stereo to the harness. When I turn then car on ACC the radio works but when I start the engine it cuts off.. idk what to do! The radio keeps the preset stations and the time when I turn the car off and back on so the constant wire is right I think. The radio turns off when I turn the car off and on when on ACC. How do i get it to stay on when I start the ignition? Help please.

  13. Hasson, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and make sure all of your fuses are not blown. If all of your fuses are good, you will have to use a Circuit Tester and test the wires at your car radio wire harness. While the ignition is off, tap a wire with your Circuit Tester then turn your ignition to battery. If your tester lights up when the battery is on and the light turns off when the ignition is off then you’ve found a switched power wire. Now start your 2005 Chevrolet Impala, if your Circuit Tester turn off while cranking but comes back on when your 2003 Chevrolet Impala is running, you found the correct wire. If this does not happen then repeat the steps for every wire until you find the correct one. Hope this helps. Good luck with unlocking your 2005 Chevrolet Impala stereo.
