  1. do you have the color coding diagram for my 2007 nissan almera. i want to install an aftermarket cd player. please reply. thank you.

  2. Auguste, as much as we would like to help you we do not have wiring diagrams for European vehicles. We only have car radio wiring diagrams for USDM vehicles. Good luck on your search.

  3. my rear door speaker wires is blue and red on one door and the other is blue with a yellow strip and blue with a white strip on the other door of my 04 maxima. which is positive and which is negative?

  4. Chad, you can simply take a AA battery, connect two wires to each end and then touch the positive side wire and the negative side wire to each speaker terminal. If the speaker cone moves outward, then the positive speaker terminal is the side with the positive side wire. If the speaker cone moves inward then the positive speaker terminal is the negative side wire. When testing for polarity, just tap the terminals. Do not leave your speaker connected to the battery as it may damage it. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima, I had a new battery installed at Autozone. After the new battery was installed, my radio does not work anymore. I was told by the Autozone employee that I will have to call Nissan to get the code for the radio. I have never heard of anything like that before. If by chance you have the code, could you please forward that information to me.

  6. Rosendo, its sounds like your radio may be in safe mode or anti-theft mode. You will need a unlock code to get your radio working again. Radio security codes are usually written in your car manual or given to you when you purchase the vehicle. If you do not have the radio security code, you would have to obtain it from the local Nissan dealer. Hope this helps. Good luck with unlocking your radio.

  7. I have the 04 Maxima SL. I am thinking about putting an after market h/u, either boss, sony, or pioneer. I am trying to figure out what the dimensions of the stock h/u is? Also, would I be able to keep the 6 disc changer if I did change the h/u? Also, is there a way to hook an iPod up to the current h/u? Thank you.

  8. Nick, it is possible to hook up an Apple iPod to your current head unit. Here is the adapter you will need:

Bluetooth Transmitter for 2004 Nissan Maxima

If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2004 Nissan Maxima bluetooth transmitter installation.

  9. I have a 2004 maxima SL, its a bose system, when i play the radio all of my speakers work properly, when i put a cd in the changer i lose every left speaker any suggestions on what this could be?

  10. Dane, technically you could connect your 2004 Nissan Maxima amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2004 Nissan Maxima is on and off whenever your 2004 Nissan Maxima is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. You will also need a RCA line out converter to feed an audio signal from your factory radio to your aftermarket amplifier. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2004 Nissan Maxima amplifier and subwoofer installation.

  11. I have the 2004 nissan maxima sl and sometimes when I hit a bump or accelerate from a dead stop the left side speakers and kicker go out however go back on just as quick when another jerking notion is made…obviously something is loose as to what and where i dont know. i dont want pay 100 bucks to have it looked at and tell me the same thing. any suggestions?

  12. i just try to instal a new double din sony radio BUT i have no sound at any of the speaker. i’m sure to match any color and i know the new head unit work good, my car is a 2004 nissan maxima with bose system.

  13. Victor, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and making sure all of your fuses are not blown. If all of your fuses are good, your 2004 Nissan Maxima may have a factory amp that needs to be turned on by your after market radio. The car radio amplifier trigger wire has to be wired up to turn on your factory amplifier to output sound from your speakers. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2004 Nissan Maxima stereo installation.

  14. I have a 2004 Nissan Maxima that i am trying to put a pioneer dvd/cd player in. i wired everything in and got it installed. now, i have no sound coming from the speakers besides the beep from pressing the buttons on the unit. This is the second unit from Crutchfield and they are even clueless about how to fix it. is ther any suggestions as to how to fix this? is it to bypass the factory amp?

  15. Daniel, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and making sure all of your fuses are not blown. If all of your fuses are good, your 2004 Nissan Maxima may have a factory amplifier that needs to be turned on by your after market radio.
