  1. I’m in the middle of replacing the non infinity head unit on my 2007 kia sedona. I only hooked up the fat antenna. Reception was poor. After reading the posts I think the pink antenna wire needs to be connected but the pioneer wiring doesn’t have a spot for it. Is it ok to just splice the pink wire into the pioneer’s hot all the time wire? thanks in advance for the assist!

  2. this schematic worked very well for my 2004 kia rio, could not find an adapter anywhere so had to splice all my connections, worked 100% on the first shot. Thanks a bunch, Jeff

  3. My battery was replaced with a new one, and I had to put in a 4 digit code for the sterio to work which was given from kia the code number I enter was 2750, and nothing happens according to the kia dealer that is the exact code, is there any thing else I do when the code is entered or is the sterio locked. I had tried everything.

  4. Tom, it sounds like you may have blown out a fuse or two. Double check ALL your fuses and you will probably find a blown fuse somewhere. Sometimes when you short out your radio fuse, other fuses may also blow out. If all your fuses are good then double check your ground wire and make sure it is grounded well or use the chassis to ground the radio. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2004 Kia Rio radio troubleshooting.

  5. I have a 2004 Kia Rio and for some reason I do not have any power to the the constant power wire. Any suggestions? I checked the fuse in the car and it was good.

  6. David, first make sure your audio balance settings are correct. If that isn’t it, we suggest you take your car into the Hyundai dealer and have it checked under your warranty. Hope this helps.
