ive been working on a stereo swap in my 2004 dodge durango. i first used a generic factory adapter.noticing quickly that there is no 12v accessory wire coming to the factory plug.using a multimeter i located an spliced into a wire controlled by the key. radio worked fine but, the dash every dash light came on and the tachometer and speedometer stopped working. after talking with the local tech superstore, i purchased an interface that supposedly generates 12v accessory power. now the radio wont power up. on the bright side i did get my dash back. can anyone help?
I recently purchased a 2004 dodge durango with the infinity system. The head unit had been professionally replaced and sounds great but I noticed the factory sub woofer is not working is there a reason why this may be I have checked all the wires and can find no problems the wiring harness has some sort of circuit board attached to it. the speakers in the doors sound great I just would like to use the 8″ sub as well. Has anyone else ever had an issue with this?
