  1. The radio diagram above does not show what the 2 purple wires are or the other black wire that is not the ground wire. also which of the wires would be the radio ignition wire for the 2003 pontiac sunfire? anyone know?

  2. I bought a JVC kd-s17 to put into my 2002 Pontiac sunfire and I need a wiring harness however walmart doesn’t have one. I tried to hook it up wire to wire but it still didn’t work..my original harness has been separated from the wires (in other words cut off) is there anyway to fix it and get my new radio in and working good???

  3. on the aftermarket deck im installing into my 2000 sunfire, there is a red wire (ignition wire) how do i/where do i hoook this wire up at into the car. the above diagram says the radio harness doesnt have this wire, and you need it hook it into the fuse box? help please

  4. Greg, it sounds like you may have mixed up some of your wiring. The double check your wiring, especially your constant wire and switched wire connections. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  5. I recently installed an aftermarket deck into my 03 sunfire and now it seems to be draining my battery. Any ideas on why this is happening?
