  1. thomas peariso

is there away to still use my consel cassette player with my alpine CA-117 after market radio

  2. Thomas, it may be possible if your Alpine CDA-117 stereo has an AUX input and if your cassette player has independent audio output signal wires. It will take some wiring knowledge and know-how so if you have never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your Alpine CDA-117 radio install.

  3. My son pulled out his factory cassette player out of his 2002 Chevy Silverado 3500 Diesel truck now the battery light and security light continue to flash. We found out that it is part of the security system he cannot remember if he disconnected the wire as well from the dash or just from the cassette player. I am trying to reinstall it for him and I am unable to find where the wires are located. Could anyone please let me know where the wire is supposed to be located at in this year model of truck?
