The wiring harness on my 2002 Chevrolet Silverado has two other wires that are not in any of the diagrams or descriptions. They are green and green with a white stripe and are in line with the rear speaker signal wires on the plug. What are these two wires for? anyone?
Josh, technically you could connect your 2002 Chevrolet Silverado amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 2002 Chevrolet Silverado is on and off whenever your 2002 Chevrolet Silverado is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2002 Chevrolet Silverado amplifier install.
I am installing an amp in a ’02 silverado with stock cd player(non-bose). What wire should i connect to for my remote turn on?
