Phillip, as much as we would like to help you, not all car alarms are installed the same way. Different brands and different setups will call for different wiring. Our advice is to take your car to a qualified alarm installer and ask them to remove the alarm because it does take some wiring knowledge and experience to know what to remove. Hope this helps. my 2002 rl alarm goes off often when we lock the doors how can we disconnect it?
Davis, the factory disarm wire for a 1996 Acura RL is the green/red wire located at the driver side door lock key cylinder. As far as we know, the 2002 Acura RL does not have an available disarm wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your alarm installation.
