My Sebring radio won’t turn on – it has power. The EQ lights flash – almost like a security code needs to be entered.this problem happend when I remove the fuse.

David, it is possible that your 2001 Chrysler Sebring has a security feature on the radio. By pulling the fuse, you may have put your radio into anti-theft mode which would require a security to unlock it. The only place you would be able to get this code is through your local Chrysler dealer. Hope this helps. Good luck.

My factory speaker wires have stripes on both pos and neg, instead of one of them being solid. I have an aftermarket head unit installed, and think my speakers’ polarities are crossed. Do you have a record of any other color codes?

how do you replace dash passenger side speaker for 2003 chrysler sebring convertible?

  • Reply ModifiedLife April 4, 2011 at 4:58 pm

Tim, most door panel removals can be done with a Phillips screwdriver and by simply pulling the door panel off by hand. Just look for screws at the edge of the door panel, near the door handle or inside the door pull. Once you remove all the screws or plastic tabs, you should be able to pull the door panel off with ease by lifting up and out. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2003 Chrysler Sebring door panel removal.
