    I’m trying to hook up my power acoustik dvd player in my car all works fine except when I turn off my 2000 Ford Explorer. it does not hold my settings at all. is there a wire I missed????

  3. Tyrone, you may have mixed up the battery constant and accessory switched wires. The battery constant always sends power to the radio to save your radio stations and other audio settings. The accessory switched wire sends power to your radio only when the key is in the ignition and your 2000 Ford Explorer is on. Check your wiring and make sure the correct radio wires are hooked up to the correct wires on your factory harness. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2000 Ford Explorer radio installation.

    I am trying to connect a RCA line out converter, but do not know which are the speaker wires in the group of all the wires that run on the side under the driver door. can you please tell me the color of the wires that belong to my 2000 Ford Explorer speakers so I can connect my amplifier please? anyone?
