the left side speakers in my 2000 dodge stratus are not working. I changed out the deck, still not working. I took the left side speaker and hooked it up to the right side speaker leads and the speakers work. so its not the speakers. the leads off the stock amp going out to the speakers are energized. so its not the amp. so my only guess as to what the matter is, is that there has to be a connector after the amp just for the left speakers that is not connected. I need to know where that connector is, if there is one, or maybe you have another solution.

Nyle, it sounds like you have a problem with your 2000 Dodge Stratus amplifier. Even if the speakers leads are energized from the stock amplifier it may not be enough to output audio to the speakers. Try taking a car speaker and wire it up right at the amplifier to see if its outputting audio. If the speaker does output audio, then your theory may be right. If the speaker doesn’t output audio, you may have to replace your 2000 Dodge Stratus amplifier or bypass it all together. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2000 Dodge Stratus stereo troubleshooting.
