  1. I installed a new radio on 2000 tahoe, I follow diagram exactly radio turns on seems to be working but no sound comes out at all, there is one harness that I guess is for the on star and tape deck that comes with tahoe that I just left alone also dimmer and panel where left untouched

  2. Carlos, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using an Automotive Fuse Tester and making sure all of your fuses are not blown. If all of your fuses are good, your 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe may have a factory amplifier that needs to be turned on by your after market radio. The car stereo amplifier trigger wire has to be wired up to turn on your factory amplifier to output sound from your speakers. Hope this points you in the right direction. Good luck with your 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe stereo installation.

  3. I just bought a new subwoofer and an amp to my 2000 tahoe, i dont know in what cable do i need to connect the amplifier RCA’s and the remote for the amp into the stereo, please help me, and tell me were can i put that 2 cables that im missing

  4. Eduardo, when splicing in the RCA Line Out Converter, tap your factory rear speaker wires to get a full range audio source. We suggest you invest in some solid wire taps that wont come loose. These wire tap connectors will allow you to tap into wires without cutting and installs in seconds by hand with no crimping or tools required. Tap the yellow wire in the your 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe factory stereo wire harness as your amplifier turn-on wire. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe amp and subwoofer install.

  5. A friend of mine has a 2000 chevrolet Tahoe. The side of the vehicle says LS but he swears it has a stock subwoofer. So lets assume he is correct. Where is the amplifier located for this type of sound system and is there a wiring diagram to go with it? anyone? Thanks!
