I had a 97 grand am that i installed a radio to, and now i have a 98 that i want to instal the same radio to, but this one seems to have stock tweeters, what color are those wires? or is it the same as the front speakers? also when i had the radio hooked up b4 it worked fine the only thing that the time kept resetting what would cause that?
John, the tweeter wires are the same wires as the front speakers. If you connect your front speakers, the same wires will power the tweeters. There is no need for separate connections. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Hi, I have a 1998 pontiac grand am with an after stock stereo which has worked fine, i just never had radio because i never installed the antenna adapter. Well i just bought an antenna adapter, pulled the stereo out installed the adapter and somewhere between that and pushing the stereo back in place all sound cut off. ive double checked all the speaker wires and nothing seems to be disconnected, all power to the stereo is on just no sound, if u have any suggestions i would greatly appreciate it. Thanx!
