  1. Marcus, double check ALL your fuses using an Automotive Fuse Tester because certain vehicles may have a wire tied into another circuit not labeled as car stereo. You may have additional fuse boxes by the driver kick panel, passenger kick panel, driver side of the dash, passenger side of the dash, under the hood or under the steering column. If all of your fuses are good, we suggest you take your vehicle to an experienced mechanic or audio installer and have them troubleshoot your problem. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1998 Isuzu Rodeo radio troubleshooting.

  3. Joey, double check ALL your fuses using an Automotive Fuse Tester because certain vehicles may have a wire tied into another circuit not labeled as car radio. You may have additional fuse boxes by the driver side of the dash, passenger side of the dash, driver kick panel, passenger kick panel, under the steering column or under the hood. After you have replaced all your blown fuses with working fuses, try turning on your your 1998 Isuzu Rodeo stereo. If it does not turn on, your 1998 Isuzu Rodeo radio may be shorted out. We suggest you take your car to an experienced audio installer and have them troubleshoot your problem or you replace your radio. Hope this helps. 4. I hooked my battery up the wrong way + to the – and – to the + and my stereo quit working, also my lights in side the car went out to. I was not thinking and i was in a rush stupid move by me. I want to get my stereo working agan, any ideas on the problem.

  5. ’98 Rodeo dash lights wired into OE stereo. I installed a new stereo but couldn’t figure out where to put the wire for the dash lights. Attempted workarounds blew fuses so now the wire’s just hanging and I have no dash lights. Stereo works great though. Help?

  6. Chris, most vehicles have a factory hole with a rubber or plastic grommet at the firewall. This is usually the standard place to run a power wire through the firewall. If one of these holes are not available or not large enough, a hole will have to be drilled to accommodate your power wire. Find a spot as high as possible to drill a hole and make sure there is nothing in the way on both sides of the firewall. Hope this helps. Good luck with your power wire installation.

  7. I have a 98′ Isuzu Rodeo and i am trying to run the power wire for my amp from the battery to the hatchback but there is no where to run the wire because its blocked off no wire routs or anything i tried drilling my own but there is a firewall in-between the two metals so im stuck and need advise on either where to drill at or where i can run the power wire

  8. Jonathan, technically you could connect your 1998 Isuzu Rodeo amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 1998 Isuzu Rodeo is on and off whenever your 1998 Isuzu Rodeo is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your amp install.

  9. Ronald, it sounds like either your car stereo is faulty or your speakers have shorted out. Our advise is to have an experienced audio installer troubleshoot your radio and speakers. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  10. i just bought a isuzu rodeo LS and the right front and the right rear speakers don’t work how do i fix that?
