hey i just recently installed a cd player into my 98 camaro, everything works fine with it but now my speedometer doesn't work. There are no blown fuses or loose wires that I can see, but I was told that the car radio and speedometer wires are wired together so when you increase your speed it increases your volume. what should I do to fix this?

Zack, technically you could connect your amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever the car is on and off whenever your car is off. Just make sure to run an in-line 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
