Second, make sure your car charger is a brand name phone charger. Sometimes, cheaply made or fake phone chargers draw more power from your cigarette lighter than it should and may cause problems for other components in your car. Hope this helps. Good luck. I put a car charger in the lighter to charge my phone like usual. This time when I put it in it shut down my audio system.
