My '97 4Runner radio has 1" tweeters in the A pillar, 6 1/2" front door and 5 1/4 rear door speakers. My issue is that you can hear the front door speakers fine, even from the back seat. But the rear speakers offer very limited volume. Is this by design or defect?

Gary, technically you could connect your amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire (gray). That way your amplifier is on whenever the car is on and off whenever your car is off. Just make sure to run an in-line 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

If i have a stock radio, and a aftermarket amplifier and subwoofers, how do i connect my remote (blue) wire, so that my amp will only power when the ignition is turned?
