  1. i have the same problem and a buddy told me that it has a amp and his went out. the stock 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 amplifier kept blowing the fuse just like mine so you might want to check the amp. the amplifier is located under the dash right in the middle by the floor. hope it works.

  2. Barb, double check ALL your fuses using an Automotive Fuse Tester because certain vehicles may have a wire tied into another circuit not labeled as car radio. You may have additional fuse boxes by the driver side of the dash, passenger side of the dash, driver kick panel, passenger kick panel, under the steering column or under the hood. If all of your fuses are good, your 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 factory amplifier (if equipped) may be faulty. We suggest you take your car to an experienced audio installer and have them troubleshoot your problem. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 radio troubleshooting.

  3. Hi, I have a 1996 dodge 2500 pickup, I replaced the stock stereo some time ago and all of a sudden my speakers just quit working. I have checked the wiring and there is a green with pink stripe on it and I am not sure where that goes. Any info would certainly be appreciated. I am pulling my hair out as to what happened. They worked fine for three years or so and now nothing. I did get them to work once but just for a second. Thanks in advance for any help.
