After putting a new battery in my 1995 Nissan 300ZX the radio acted strangly and then quit working all together. A service staion dealer told me that this is a security feature so no one will steal my radio. He said it just needs to be re-programed by the Nissan dealership. I took it to the Nissan dealer and the “service manager” informed me that there is no information for a vehicle this old but they would try to fix it. He estimated 1 to 2 hours of labor to “work through it “. Any other ideas or suggestions ?

Bill, if your 1995 Nissan 300ZX does have an anti-theft feature then your radio may be in safe mode or anti-theft mode. This happens when the power going to your radio is interrupted. You will need a unlock code to get your radio working again. Radio security codes are usually written in your car manual or given to you when you purchase the vehicle. If you do not have the radio security code, you would have to obtain it from the local Nissan dealer. Hope this helps. Good luck with unlocking your 1995 Nissan 300ZX radio unlocking.
My headlights and high beams don’t come on. The lights are new so I am assuming it’s the headlight relay. I need the diagram for the relay box. Do you have such a diagram? Thanks.
