radio display light (channel, cd info, etc) – sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t – has factory infinity stereo. Is this something fixable?
Brian, it sounds like your radio lighting is faulty and needs replacement. Our advise would be to have your local Mitsubishi dealer check out your radio or have an authorized audio repair center take a look. Hope this helps. Good luck.
My 95 3000gt has a Steering wheel radio control unit which has buttons for volume, mute, next, am/fm, etc.. I was wondering what color is the wire on the radio harness so when i put my after market stereo in i can buy a converter so i can still use my steering wheel controls.
Davis, as far as we know it would require extensive re-wiring to get the stock steering wheel controls to work with an aftermarket radio. If you are not an expert car audio installer, your best bet is to get an after market radio that comes with steering wheel controls of its own. Hope this helps. Good luck.
I have a question about my radio in my 95 3000 GT. Someone put a aftermaket headunit in it before I bought it and when you turn the headlights on while the cd player is on it blows the dashlight fuse… I thought that would be because of a dimmer wire? but according to this diagram their is no dimmer wire… their has to be! Any idea? Thanks
I own a 1995 mitsubishi 3000gt and want to replace the factory infinity stereo. I was told that I would need to fabricate around the new kit that would be going in. Do you know of any kits that are made to fit perfectly in my car…cuz i do not want this to look horrible when done. Thanks, Josh
